MIDNIGHT MAGIC - ch 20
MIDNIGHT MAGIC – ch 20 Julie (*)(*)(*) Midnight paced inches away from the feet of both men. While there was still an empty chair between them, Midnight took advantage of that space. She’d pace at the feet of Monty and loudly hiss as she bared her fangs, completely unnerving him. As she passed the empty chair, she’d walk slowly on her hind legs with her front paws raised and her claws extended. Then, approaching Tony’s chair, she’d repeat her pacing and hissing as she did with Monty.

MIDNIGHT MAGIC – ch 12 Julie (*)(*)(*) Julie’s shoulders slumped and she shook her head. “Aintin, Micky, as much as I want desperately to agree with both of you, I can’t. Mickey, I’m four months pregnant. Yes, it’s true that I became pregnant on my first date with Tony but I’m sure he knows that I hadn’t been out of the U.S. since last year. He didn’t insist on a DNA test and while he doesn’t care one iota about the baby, it’s his ego that wants repair. As he said, ‘nobody leaves Tony Moretti’.”
