Dear Mother
Mother. According to 'The Free Dictionary by Farlax,' a mother is a woman who gives birth to a child, a woman who raises a child, and a female parent of an animal; just to name a few. In our case, all 3 are true! You birthed me and raised me. I was your child, although at times, I may have seemed to be more of an animal!

For as long as I can remember, I was taught, "red and yellow, black and white; we're all precious in his sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world." Despite my parents contrasting skin-tones, I saw my mom and dad. Having a Caucasian father and African-American mother, I was well aware that, we as human beings, came in a variety of colors and shades; but we were all the same.

Co-VID Why?!
In the 90's, conspiracy theories existed and were real, but not above God; right? More like corrupted human fuckery and the governmental cover-ups. I mean, wasn't it the churches that preached, that the AIDS virus was God's response to homosexuality. God allowed man to contract HIV & develop AIDS. I mean I was only a child (a VERY sheltered child), but I doubt the rumor mills were whispering how the government/medical professionals were behind this impossible to control and ever-mutable virus that they'd secretly inject into the dirty whores and despicable queers in efforts to cleanse society of such scum. The government was not trying to conduct population control; it was retribution that resulted from abandoning God's desire, choosing to live within one's fleshly desire; whether you fell victim to lust or was enveloped by vanity. As government and medicals were ending plagues, while endlessly investing in cures and vaccines to enhance lives; let's not forget to mention the fact that life expectancy for 'humans' is considerably longer than it was 2000 years ago!

WHEN it’s over [I do not want to know] Better to not wake up sober; frozen, cold in November. Blue all throughout December; fighting off thoughts best not remembered. Soaring through the New Year... January, February, Marched right into April. May made its way into June and July soon flew into August too! Dazed and sedated, lazily slept through September. October's obnoxiously chill but open your senses & be very observant. [the air, frigid and crisp; oh, how we wish we could forget!] Some actions undeserved. [as the trees shed their dying leaves.] Precious memories preserved and time together that cannot be reversed. Nurse me this November and never part before the end of December!
