The Cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window… At the strike of the match, Noah held her breath, desperate for the small flame dancing in her hand to reach the candle in front of her. On her third attempt, she let out a small sigh of relief as she watched the blackened wick come to life, casting its blanket of light over a small area of the cabin. It wasn’t much, she thought, but enough to provide some reprieve from the dark, stormy night.
