Why you won't ever find happiness
Social media has infiltrated deep into our society and our minds. It's inevitable that we pick up our phones and go into our social media apps - wether that be Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, etc. We see others with amazing backdrops in the Bahamas, remote Islands, foriegn countries, etc. We can't seem to stop ourselves from comparing us - the individual that we are - to others and put a mirror up against them using our phones as a gate to hell. In our modern world, it's hard to find that happiness, that state of bliss - a sense of quiet in our lives. But, life goes on. We tell ourselves that today might be the day that we get log off, but it's hard. All our friends, famillies, acquanities, they're all online. Everythign nowadays have gone virutal and it's hard not picking up our phones and going to hell. We won't ever find the happiness that we're looking for. A study done by Instagram has shown that teens are becoming more depressed and have an overall negative effect on how we see our bodies. It's hard being connected with people virutally all the time. But, that's what our modern life has become. A meaningless shell trying to mimic what real life relationships are like. Soon, it won't even be a stretch to say that we will see other people face-to-face at all with creations like the metaverse trying to become a reality. We've grown distant to one another wanting to have food delivered to us, stuff shippped to us, and seeing each other through our phones. We don't ever truelly go outside and see others face-to-face and smile to each other. Happiness has disappeared virtually along with all the human emotions that we as humans felt for one another. Is there a solution to this?
