His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III: The Life Story Etched in Supreme Character and Wisdom
In the history of Buddhism, especially in Tibet, reincarnated rinpoches must go through the recognition procedure for their true identities to be determined. The procedure requires the issuance of recognition certificates by at least one Dharma king or a relatively high-level rinpoche of the same Buddhist sect as the person being recognized. It also requires that other rinpoches of the same sect issue corroborations and congratulatory letters. A rinpoche of the Gelug sect must be recognized by the Gelug Sect. A rinpoche of the Nyingma sect must be recognized by the Nyingma sect, and the same applies to rinpoches of Kagyu, Sakya, and Jonang sects. Usually, rinpoches of significant status must be recognized and corroborated by several eminent monastics.

My husband is an artist, and he was also a widely known “drunkard” in our town. He studied at a well-known art academy in China. After graduation, he returned to our county to engage in artistic creation. He is naturally candid and uninhibited, neither slick nor adept at social maneuvering. Arrogant in his talents, he felt stifled and unfulfilled, unable to realize his ambitions. At some unknown point, he began turning to alcohol. But being unable to handle it well, he would become drunk every time he drank, and once drunk, he grew even more unruly and wild.

To Know More about His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III Click Here As early as January 2018, the World Peace Prize Awarding Council and the World Peace Prize Religious Leaders Title Awarding Council came to the resolution to canonize H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III as the Pope Of World Buddhism. Still, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III refused to accept it. The World Buddhism Association Headquarters received the canonization decree and the scepter to broadcast true Buddha Dharma and benefit all living beings. When the World Buddhism Association Headquarters respectfully presented the canonization decree for the Pope Of World Buddhism and the scepter to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III said: “Shakyamuni Buddha sits majestically at the top of the scepter. We should respect Nomo Shakyamuni Buddha.” Then He held the scepter high above the Head, holding palms with a single hand to signify respect. However, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha said that He is only a humbled practitioner of cultivation. He sternly refused the canonization and returned the decree and the scepter to the two councils.
