A moment to reflect...
Almost 6 years ago I took the plunge in to the great unknown leaving everything I knew behind. I packed up a suitcase, subleased my Miami studio and left for NYC. I had no job planned other than my intention to work with a set design company, 11th street workshop, a company I had worked with six months before my journey embarked. I found a place to live, paid two months worth of rent, had 250$ on an EBT card and a little cash in my pocket then I was off like a prom dress.

Unpopular Opinion: "Can't make her drink."
"You Can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." It was an imperishable summer night in Bushwick, an ideal night to have a gathering of artists, smoke a shit load of weed, guzzle down as many IPA’s as you can and make plans that would never amount to much. I was there to meet two new friends I had met on a social media group, “NYC Filmmakers.”Turning the knob as if I were entering the complete unknown leaving everything I knew behind I was teleported to a hippie haven, something straight out of a Netflix mini-series. Weed and Nag Champa, cocaine being broken up and being snorted on the dining room table, people hugging each other, it was a total Brooklyn art vibe. Everything was flowing seamlessly.

Welcome to the Madhouse
How many of you actually read the whole article instead of just reading the title and posting? Be honest! I'm so guilty of not checking facts and not doing this that and other and I always get burned. But more and more lately I find myself being more and more cautious of the information that I ingest. To me its clear to see that there is something DEEPER than what meets the common eyes going on.
