How I'm starting over after three years as a professional blogger
I've been blogging professionally since 2018. My dream back then was to write about women's health and supplements, and that eventually my blog would make us a lot of money and that I could quit working retail, and my husband could quit his day job.

Creating my Heroes
The first time I remember dressing up as a character from a movie or show was for my Star Wars themed 8th birthday party. My mom made me a hand-sewn Princess Leia dress from Episode IV: A New Hope. I remember helping my mom cut out the fabric with her sewing scissors, and stitching together my small white hooded dress.

Promise me we will always have each other.
Both of us have been through the wringer. My sister Mei and I were adopted by our Grandmother when I was two, and she was five. We went to the same Catholic school in the middle of Chicago, lived in an apartment where we shared a 10 ft by 10 ft bedroom till we moved out at the ages of seventeen and twenty. That was right after our Grandmother passed away.

Thrifting a Collection of Classics
I have always loved reading. Surprisingly, for a twenty-six-year-old woman, some of my favorite books to read are old, old classics. I've heard Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, a lot of Jane Austen, Wuthering Heights, many Sherlock Holmes books, the Picture of Dorian Gray (and everything else listed below), and this year will be working my way through the Illiad and the Oddesy.

If you were born between the years of 1981 and 1996, then you are a Millennial. There is also a good chance you grew up watching iCarly. And while you may not have known it at the time, it was preparing you to not only become an influencer or entrepreneur, but for all the trouble one really does go through in everyday life.

How I accidentally became a Serial Entrepreneur
Becoming an entrepreneur was never my intention. I just remember wanting out. Well-paying, money-making jobs never did it for me, and the jobs I had liked didn't pay enough to stay long-term. The one I currently had when I decided enough was too much was sucking the life out of me every time I walked in the building. There seemed to be no end in sight.

Zen as a Hero
MCU Music and Chill I am admittedly a big Marvel, DC, and overall superhero fangirl. My favorite hero is Thor and actually went as Thor: goddess of Thunder for Comicon one year. I enjoy the comics, movies, and shows, and the music for the MCU is pretty incredible too.
