The Accidental Incident Of The Crossing Swords
Mid-July haze wafted across the top of the road, cicadas sang as the vehicle sped down the otherwise empty roadway. Sweat beaded up and dripped down Stan’s nose and between his barrel-chested pecs. Dressed in a tight-fitting grey ribbed tank top, the heat was still merciless. He could easily turn on the AC- but he was a good ole southern boy and he grew up in the heat, he could handle a little north heat. He could damnit.
