Loud Voices
At twenty-eight years old, I am faced with the continuation of warnings I was issued in my late teens and early twenties. Warnings of how marriage would be. Life. My career. How my desire for no children would change. Everything really. I got married when I was twenty-four and carried with me wise counseling I had collected from the only two happy couples I knew. The Thing on the Shore

The Disease . Top Story - May 2023.
I sit here sipping my coffee, gazing at the mountains peaking through trees, chewing on a question I keep returning to. I admire bravery, I always have. Consuming Nature's Beauty
I enjoy a sunshine rich day full of crisp cold air that invigorates the lungs and freezes my breath in my eye lashes. A good hike through packed snow always proves to be both magical and exciting. I have a rather vivid imagination and it stirs to play beneath the bases of the mountains and along glittering riverbanks of snow and frozen wonders. Any number of fantastical worlds and beasts might exit in this sort of realm, goblins and snow fairies at war, werewolves plundering the night, or ice dragons guarding their hoards.

Kitchen Gossip
They sat across from each other at the old wooden table, sipping coffee. Warmth and crackles pressed in from the nearby hearth as the fire munched away at slightly sappy logs. The big thick windows were fogged over, but beyond them the world was a white blanket anyway.
