My dog absolutely loves Winter, and she would spend all day playing and frolicking in the snow if we let her. However, Wintertime is not all fun and games for our four-legged friends. To All Those Who Keep their Christmas Lights Up Through The Winter…Thank You.
The other night, I was driving my kids back to a school function at 5:30 on a country road in complete darkness. No moon, just my headlights in the pitch black. Periodically along my drive, I would see a few shining beacons of sparkling Christmas lights that would brighten up my otherwise dim ride. It struck me how nice it was to see those gleaming lights in an otherwise bleak and dispiriting night.

When I’m at Disney I want to keep the magic going, even when I’m not in the parks. I would love to stay at a Disney Resort every time we visit Walt Disney World, but sometimes this just isn’t possible, either due to capacity or because some of the resorts are just too darn expensive. Imagine Dragons
As the sun began to set on Onondaga Lake in Syracuse, New York at the St Joseph Health Amphitheater, Imagine Dragons lit up the stage. The four-man band from Las Vegas, Nevada definitely know how to engage with their audience and put on one hell of a show. The band has been a powerhouse of mainstream hits since 2012 with their first successful single, “It’s Time” off of their Night Vision album. However, it was the song “Radioactive” from this same album that solidified them as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. They opened the show with “Radioactive”, the song which, incidentally, holds the record for spending the longest time on the Billboards Top 100, 87 weeks.

2018 Carolina Rebellion
The Carolina Rebellion has spent almost a decade bringing a captivating rock festival to the Charlotte, North Carolina area. This isn’t just any festival. The festival organizers put a lot of time and energy into creating three days of exhilarating fun that is almost no holds barred. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t 3 days of profligacy. This is just a lot of fun-loving people coming together to enjoy great entertainment in all of its varying forms. In past years the festival has brought some of the biggest names in rock music. Yet, one of the nice touches about this festival is it also brings some of the rising stars, who are just on their way up. It gives these lesser known acts a chance to show what they are really made of. Some of the best performances of the festival aren’t always on the Carolina or Rebellion Stages. There is something about the festival environment that has every artist putting their "best foot forward," so to speak. It raises the par to the point that every artist is striving to give their best performance. It could almost be considered a friendly competition amongst contemporaries. Although many of these bands are friends, they are also friendly rivals. They each want to be proclaimed the best performance of the festival and leave their mark, make new fans, and in some cases make history. This year’s 2018 Carolina Rebellion didn’t disappoint. Each day brought something new and exciting and the fans were hungry for every moment of it.
