Love Lesson
I never really put thought into how I fell in love with him, the exact moment, or the action that was taken. I just knew that he was my person in that season that I wanted to last for a lifetime. The time we spent together was never enough. I wish U would have saved every single text message we had, but the phone calls were the best. It was never too much and it did not ever get boring, we loved each other hard. We tested things and pushed boundaries just so that we could kiss and make-up.

For Better or For Worse
Sooooo, I've been married twice (please do not judge me) and I don't blame my failed marriages on anything or anyone, because of my lack of not knowing what it is or what it means when I said my vows. One day I just sat and thought about what the man did or didn't do wrong, but what I was missing within myself. I started researching myself I became my own "project. Like, what do I believe my marriage vows mean to me? I said the vows, "for better or for worse, through sickness and health, for richer or for poorer, and until death do you part", not sure if those are in the right order. I just repeated what I was suppose to say at the moment to the man that was standing in front of me, not even thinking about how I really felt about what I was vowing to at the time. I really had to put in some deep thinking, to understand what each of those vows meant especially with me going into a covenant under God.

Fear is what keeps a lot of us from being great and taking the leap to pursue whatever it is that we were designed to do to make this world a better place. We all face a different a different kind of fear such as: What if I fail?, What will people I know think, What will people I don't know think, or What if I think I have what it takes and it's just not enough?

You Remind Me: Part 1
Trish was so thankful for the quietness she was now experiencing in the library, usually it was full of obnoxious college students waiting last minute to cram for an exam or a last-minute assignment. She often wondered why the college students didn’t use the library at the university they attended, she came to the conclusion that maybe they really had to abide by the rules of being quiet so others could focus. This Tuesday night, however, when she walked into her sacred place, she only noticed two other people, the Librarian Ms. Cooper and a young man she barely glanced at. She headed directly for the book she was dying to read in peace. Zora Neale Hurston “Their Eyes Were Watching God”. Her friend Maxine read it a week prior and wouldn’t stop talking about it. After looking through the book catalog she saw where she could locate the book in the library, she headed towards the back aisle searched the shelf and grabbed the book like it was a hidden treasure. Trish went to the sitting area in the library (that is much more comfortable then then the study area) which was empty and quiet, she sat in the comfortable chair next to the window.

Sometimes I wake up and want to be what some like to call a "hopeless romantic". Then, sometimes I wake up and just want to be left alone. I'm also the kind of woman that when I meet a guy and there is some form of interest, I pray for a sign of that man being for "me", whether through friendship or relationship form for my life.
