As human species, music has always been an integral part of our society’s rituals, as well it defines the cultural trends of a particular time, and has been used as a way of communication. From the bell bottoms and tie-dye shirts of the 1960s to the punk rock leather jackets of the 1970s, music, and fashion have been powerful tools that coexist and complement each other for self-expression and cultural identity. From providing us with a topic to talk about, to breaking boundaries of defining meaning, music has been with us for ages. There is just something special about that form of communication and how it symbolizes a different thing depending on the location it’s produced and the time being. And when we look further into the future, we always combine a certain type of music with a certain type of style that exists in those music listeners’ barriers. Our style of combining pieces of materials with a set of music makes more sense to us and defines who belongs around us and who just doesn’t get our perception of things in general.
