We jump over the moon Before sitting in the shed Speaking of our past And the lives we have led * We swing across the vines
She taught me to hope And believe in the future. It was in her eyes.
Winter air breaks in Blue hues bounce off the powder I can breathe again
Midnight waits for us To be renewed in moonlight Grasping at echoes
Blue flowers in hair Moving still beneath the waves The willow still stands
Found the next morning Overlooking the seaside Lips already blue
From ashes and smoke Your arrival seems sacred All looks can deceive
In between the strings A memory of you lies I don’t miss the blues
Summer brings me hope That your blue blood will remain But it’s gone by fall
