Like many curlies, I went through a journey getting to the point where I was making the most of what I had naturally and feeling happy about it. Once I arrived there at about the age of 19, I loved it - and I still do.

Argentinean soccer midfielder and striker Diego Maradona sadly died of a heart attack on Wednesday 25th of November 2020. He underwent a successful operation for a blood clot at the beginning of the month, but the reported nine ambulances sent to his Buenos Aires residence didn't arrive in time to save him from the attack.

The Big Introductions You always knew what was about to come when a 90s R&B and hip-hop track began. Whether it was PURE emotion via the 'ooohhh's' of Brownstone's "If You Love Me" or a signal to get on the dance floor when the Notorious B.I.G started with the 'uh, uh, uhs' of "Hypnotize," people always got excited and sang along. I'd like to apologise to anyone who's had to listen to me try to match the higher than high Mariah Carey harmonies that swirl around just before the infectious beat of "Fantasy" kicks in but to be honest I think all the people around me have were doing the same thing.
