Small Town, Olympic Hopes
I've lived one place my entire life. My family did move at one point but it was only from "old Kearns" to "new Kearns" a few miles away so we could have a slightly bigger house with a slightly smaller yard. Nothing changed but my ability to keep dogs.

The Man who Knelt
I know next to nothing about football. I played a very short game of flag football in Junior High, picked up the football after a down and everyone yelled at me. Apparently that was wrong? I had asked how to play and no one had answered, so after that I decided to return to not caring about the game.

A Story of Stuffies
My spouse and I are perhaps not the shining examples of adulting. This morning I had to literally call my parents to help me get out of bed. Our furnace had commitment issues last night and my spouse and I (the ones with arthritis) sleep in the basement. My joints froze to the point where I could not move and needed someone to pry me free.

I was sexist today
I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, as you see it wasn't my bed. It was my "hospital" bed reserved for when I make too much of a fuss and can't sleep with my spouse for one reason or another. It allows me more control and to be closer to things I might need like food, water, medicines, and on the good and bad side, is minus one person.

Hello, are you there?
My second wedding was an ever evolving affair. I'd only been semi-conscious for the first one (long story, maybe I'll tell you someday) so both I and my partner wanted to make this one more ours and less something my parents had tried to drain from my over-drugged brain while I wrestled with my sexuality (my poor first husband didn't last long).

Growing up
We neared the purchase of the game we'd searched three stores for. It required assistance from store personnel so I turned to see if there was anyone at the electronics desk only to see that someone was already coming to us. I was disappointed that they didn't work for one of our local Targets but instead our local cable/internet/cellphone companies.

Clean Sweep
It happened because of Minesweeper. The dumb computer game that’s been around for ages, I’ve always had an affinity for it. Even when I was a kid and didn’t understand the concept I’d just randomly click waiting for the little smiley face at the top die. The little x’s for eyes was hilarious to me.
