As the price of wind and solar energy continues to fall, experts say they offer an economical and timely way to combat climate change by harvesting energy from an untested technology: nuclear fusion. The amount of energy generated by nuclear fusion is more than four times that of a fission reaction, and fusion reactions could form the basis for future fusion-powered reactors.

In April, TSMC, which makes chips for Apple, Qualcomm and many other major technology companies, warned that the bottleneck could last until 2022, though it is unclear how Taiwan's outbreak will affect this estimate. TSMC, however, said it would not be affected, according to the WSJ.

Hotel In The Space
Orbital ATK's plan is to begin building its Voyager station in 2026, giving it about a year to build before it can host 2027 guests. Travel looks more ambitious with plans for a Voyager station hotel in space and could open in 2027. The team behind Voyager has hinted at a future partnership with SpaceX's Starship System to take the hotel to space, but we know the space station will be open to guests by then.
