Hammock Life Day 3 - Fireplace in Wieliczka
It’s early in the morning, I hear some clanking. Like two wooden swords against each other. It goes on for about 5 minutes. I realise that these two swards are actually deer antlers. How crazy huh? two deer just battling it out near my tent. I didn’t see any of it because I had a tarp draped over my hammock.

Hammock Life Day 2 - Better Prepared This Time
I am sleeping on the floor. I feel the little fella crawling on top of me, the little fella is the mouse we have. He’s near my head. I awake, pick him up and put him on his table. That’s his home. He’s got his boxes and his hay there. I lay back down. It’s early in the morning, maybe 4 or 5. I sleep for a little bit longer, and eventually wake up again around 8 or something. My friend is rushing to work. She makes herself some breakfast, does some stuff in the bathroom, and she is out the door. I like it when I’m alone at home. I make myself some matcha, sit down, check a few things on the laptop. I know that today will be the day I have to leave. I have to start this Hammock Life things already, can’t hesitate anymore. Maybe it’s more of preparing, rather than hesitation.

Time to get back to work #tkjournal
It’s been a while since I’ve written anything on here, so here it goes… It’s that time again, time to get back to work baby. I don’t really want to play games anymore, it’s time to get serious about things, and stop ****ing around, I think I have been doing that way too much. Well, maybe not, I’ve actually been pretty focused for the past few years, but it’s hard work. That’s what I am talking about baby, hard work, gotta get back to that hard work.

Arrival in Córdoba
So the arrival to Cordaba was pretty pleasant. It was around 5 in the afternoon. The sun was still high up in the sky. A man with tattos, an older man, but with a young energy gave us a ride. Used this app called BlaBla car. Most of the drive there, him and another man were speaking Spanish up front, while me and Sara sat in the back, a very comfortable back. Black leather seats, a fresh scent and lots of space. Through the window you could see the vast empty lands. There were point where trees would cover these lands, but the trees were of a dry kind. I think most were Olive trees. Those short ones with pale leaves. I enjoyed the views, it's always enjoyable to see something brand new, to see new lanscapes, to smell things that you haven’t smelt before, and to hear a language that you somewhat understand, but not fully.

well, it's a long story
I love my job because… well, it's sort of a long story. I do have a pretty interesting job, I'm a graphic designer, a "self-taught" one too, never went to University or any of that, but maybe I should have, maybe I could have ended up working for a innovative startup, or maybe I could be working at a BIG Tech firm, but that's not how my life went, and maybe that's a good thing. I started as a Photographer, a long long time ago… it feels like it's been a long time, but it's only been around 8 years or so. It was just a fun thing to do back then, my friends needed some photos, so I thought "ehh why not?", I had a Canon DSRL, a standard lens, and I'd take a picture of them here and there, usually we'd go somewhere around the downtown area. We lived near Chicago, so downtown was our meetup destination, but we wouldn't go to just take pictures, usually "taking pictures", meant "hitting on girls", I mean what else would we do at that age? But the "hitting on girls" part didn't usually work out because we'd usually make the excuse of "ohh let's just go take some picture there" and we'd end up spending a few hours doing that, maybe going over to Starbucks for a tea, and maybe, maybe, if one of us felt brave enough, we'd talk to a girl. But we're getting off track now.

A dry and crumbled tree
A dry and crumbled tree sticks out from the ground, it looks pathetic, how can such a thing exist. It comes out from the reddish ground, it's not even ground it is just sand, so fragile it is this tree, so dry looking, it needs some water. 'Shall I spare a bit of water?'… I walk around wondering, I go over by the kitchen sink, pour a bit of water from the tap, the taps screeches and them vomits out a bit of water, the water is dirty, just like the sand outside - red and of a foul smell, but I got so used to it, I don't even notice. I drink the foul water as I look out this small wooden window, it is the window of my family's house, but they don't exist. The window looks out onto the reddish sand, there isn't much in the distance, just empty lands, broken dreams, storms of sand. I never like going out much, especially after I noticed that tree sticking out from the ground, it gives me some sort of hope, but all hope has been lost. It frustrates me because it stands there and does not give up, it stands there so firm but weak. The house creeks, the wood is old and the wind does it no good, it makes it older and weaker. 'Why am I here?' I ask myself, 'why am I reminded of this place?'. I take one last gulp of the water and leave a bit on the bottom of the glass.

The air is good today
I love it when the wind is cool, and when the sun shines, but not too harshly. I walk into the kitchen and smell the air and it has a certain scent which I cannot describe, but just know that it gives me goosebumps, it fills me with a softness, as gentle as a woman's touch. If comforts me and loves me, it doesn’t make love to me, but it just loves me.
