My Milkshake Brings ... Embarrassment
The Summer of 2013, I started my first job ... I'm just going to say it was a fast food restaurant, not which one. The first few weeks I was working, the milkshake machine was down (and/or we didn't have any milkshake mix in the inventory), so I didn't get a lot of initial practice with how to make milkshakes. How they work though is you pull the handle down on the machine, then you have to watch it and lift the lever again ... or else you'll get milkshake everywhere. (Remember this fact for later, it's important!)

Keeping Him in the Family
My boyfriend ("J") is the oldest of three brothers -- the other two brothers we'll call "B" and "R". From my understanding, B got a puppy for Christmas 2012; their mom surprised him with a white Shih Tzu that has black ears and black spots/patches all over. Based on this information, you shouldn't be surprised that B named the puppy Panda.

Curiosity Over Passion?
When I was in Grade 9, I took a Leadership class. We planned school assemblies, school dances, and other fun events. We read biographies and autobiographies of amazing public figures, as a class assignment. But one of the strongest memories I have from this class is this one day, my teacher comes in and is holding a bag of rocks -- rocks which she painted different words onto. I don't know what any of my peers ended up with, but my rock said PASSION ... and still says it, because it's sitting right next to me (12 years later!).

Ideas are Searching ... for YOU
Knock knock. Who's there? An idea! ... You should probably answer that; it seems important. I love how Elizabeth Gilbert personifies "ideas" in her book, Big Magic -- as though they are entities in search for an individual who they can collaborate with, in order to bring them to life.
