Dark Waters
Echo peeked their head over the surface of the water as a hand lowered from the rowboat above them, curious of the human. Gold eyes followed that hand up, bronze painting the man's skin in a soft glow, leading into a built arm and across exposed collar bones. His face was strong, carmine eyes searching and full of adventure. As soft breaths escaped the man’s mouth, captivated by the moonlight sparkling off the water, Echo thought they’d stay, only to understand. To see what left the man so breathless, so naively trusting at the hands of the dark, rippling waves.
