ANCIENT ANIMATED MOVIES
The carvings on these flat limestone rocks from Monteste5ric were created circa twelve thousand to sixteen thousand years ago by Homo sapiens, who likely used them as Prime Time Entertainment for their ancestors. Researchers have discovered that many of the animals depicted in these carvings were harmed by heat, revealing the artists' precision and creativity when creating their sculptures. In particular, the animals carved around banded deposits of iron within the stone demonstrate a level of mastery not usually seen in prehistoric art.
