If there was a cure
If there was a cure for what I have, it would be an absolute yes. I would reach out and find ways to bring you into being. To hold and nurture you all through the years as best that I could. To be there for every moment that you needed me. To watch you grow and be who you want to be.

The inevitable
There once was a beautiful maiden with long golden hair that shined like the sun. Skin as smooth as the fresh spring breeze. Eyes as blue as the ocean itself. Lips pink as the blossoming morning rose. She was kind and brought laughter wherever she went. Her name was Life. She was the very being that bestowed breath to all.

The future is female
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Two years, nine months and three weeks to the date, our team set out to explore our universe for possible planets to start a new utopia for the human race. We had high hopes but ended up with no success. So, we headed back but our ship fell into some complications. Surviving the comet shower was one thing, another was the asteroid field which left severe damage to all our thrusters. We were supposed to be back a year and 3 months ago but due to this 2048 technology that our scientists back on earth said was ‘top of the line,” the closest we got was past the larger moons of Jupiter. Being the crew's log keeper, it's my job to make sure that everything that happens on and off this ship gets documented. I think most of the men on this mission have not taken their jobs seriously.

Five important things I have learned from my mom, and then some
All my life my mother has always been my rock, and she always will be. My mom's life wasn't the easiest, but from all her hardships grew a beautiful soul. From an early age my mother showed signs of artistic genius. Even though her mother, father and siblings didn't realize it at first, and quite often was bullied by these same family members, mom later in life showed how determined she was through her gifts. In her late teen years she was accepted into the Parsons school of design in New York City. Mom could be herself there. She didn't have to face day-to-day ridicule from her parents or siblings.

Not a day goes by. Top Story - July 2022.
Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Not a day goes by that I wish you would have listened to me and taken that bus instead. Not a day goes by that I wish I was with you at the time of the crash. Not a day goes by that I don't mourn you. I miss your scent that perforated my nose. I miss your kisses upon my forehead. I miss the silly faces you would make when I was down. I miss you, and i still love you, and I always will. Life can be cruel, but death can be worse. Not a day goes by that I can't help but think what could have been.

Heaven only knows
Imagine having a father, who was never there for you. Imagine a man who was so disgusting and crazy that he threw your own 3 month pregnant mother into the wall just because of a stupid alarm clock. Imagine a man who made a 5 thousand dollar bet against your own gender. Imagine a man who never cared that you even existed.

The camp experience from Hell
I very much wish this story was a fictional tale, but sadly this is all taken from my experience. Due to many other subjects, the Summer of 2001, for me, was extremely difficult. One of the several was surviving Camp Flaming Arrow. Everyone in our friends and family circle swore it was the best camp ever. From their reliable and caring staff, to their educational and safe environment. It was a haven for all children.

Twisted Souls
In a small Victorian town on the edge of Massachusetts where the earth graced the sea, lived a young girl by the name of Jessica. Her skin was a beautiful pale shade of ivory and her hair was a dark crimson almost like blood. Her eyes were a mystifying shade of teal blue. She had no siblings but only her mother who she looked nothing like. Quite often Jessica would escape to the ocean shore to sit on the docks and meditate. She also enjoyed the times when the tide would come in, which she would find the most unusually creepy things that would wash up on to the beach. It was a calming place, and strangely familiar. With these objects she would collect to take home and craft them into art pieces.
