Why I Took Off to Missouri
One of the reasons why I took off to Missouri was so I wouldn’t have to see or be reminded that you were with a guy who was pretty much the opposite of me, and who didn’t realize he was the luckiest guy. I know how you deserve to be treated. That’s why when he wasn’t, I played the boyfriend role. That’s why when you and him needed anything, I was there because you deserve someone who would do anything for you. That’s why when he owed me probably 100 bucks, I agreed to food at the mall just so he’ll have to take you out. If I’m being honest even before Daryl told you the truth I knew my role would always be the big brother and best friend.

I'm Her Protector and She’s My Angel
So, I know everything seems like it’s falling apart around me, and the sun is nowhere cuz the rain storm is all over me, yet I got a promise to keep. I know I'm the biggest underdog in this story, but I refuse to not keep my promise. When things ended down there I could have risked it and stayed down there but I had a promise to keep and I had some unfinished business to settle. I could have stayed in my corner, but I had a promise to keep and I refuse to break the one that means the most to me.

All We're Gonna Be Is Friends
This would be pointless to say face to face, but if she stumbles upon this, I hope it puts a smile on the face of the girl who’s perfect 360 degrees around, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 12 months a year. I might never be your man, but till the day I die, you will be my angel. So if you wanna talk, my door is always open. Damn does it hurt watching the one you love love someone else who, in your opinion, doesn’t deserve them. Everyone always says "find that makes you happy and never let go," but what if you can’t have what makes you happy?
