Oberyn to the Rescue
The first time I ever saw Oberyn was in a photograph and there was a connection that I will never be able to explain. An old friend knew someone whose dog just had puppies and needed homes for them. When I met him in person it only solidified our bond and that we were meant to be together.

Why We Need Videos like Dove Cameron's Breakfast. Top Story - August 2022.
On August 23rd, Dove Cameron released the video for her latest single, Breakfast. On June 24, 2022, the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision that affirmed the constitutional right to abortion. Dove Cameron herself has always been an outspoken advocate for human rights, including the right to choose. She's never been afraid to speak passionately about her convictions and using her platform to raise the voices of the under privileged as well. As a queer woman in the spotlight, she's fighting her own battles against the patriarchy on a far too regular basis.

A League Of Our Own
I used to watch the film A League Of Their Own religiously, sometimes day after day after day. There was a summer where I insisted on wearing this one pink skirt I had all the time because it reminded me of the Rockford Peaches uniform. I wanted to be Dottie Hinson and developed a major crush on Geena Davis...I wanted to be WITH her too, but didn't quite understand those feelings as a kid...but that crush was very real and still remains to this very day.

How Horror Nights Became Home
I'll admit, the first time I ever went to Horror Nights at Universal Studios in Hollywood, I was overwhelmed. I was fascinated by the mazes, the performers, and all the detail that went into everything, but I didn't go with the right people. They didn't have the patience for me and my needs and we didn't know we could get a disability access pass to help me. I fell in love that night, regardless, and hoped to go again in the future with the right people.

Autism in a Nutshell
People ask me all the time what it's like to be autistic and I really can't sum it up in a simple sentence or adjective. Autism is me, I am autism, my own little human spot on the spectrum. The spectrum of me, the spectrum of autism. I would not be the same person if I wasn't autistic, my personality, my taste, the way I walk and talk and even interact in my daily life would be different. The way I respond to stimuli would change, my senses wouldn't be so sensitive or sharp as a tack. I wouldn't be the same person at all. I wouldn't dress the same, I wouldn't like the same foods or even have the same friends in my life as I'm sure my interests would be vastly different. Without autism, I am not me, just the same body for different entities.

The Witch of the Woods
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. Mary inched closer, the lantern in her hand suddenly going dim. Her hand shook, and the metal of her lantern rattled. Her body kept moving towards the dilapidated building, even as her heart and mind argued whether to stay. She was too close now, close enough that anyone inside could just fling open them door and run after her, yet she couldn’t stop moving.
