Some years ago two teenagers went urban exploring inside the abandoned apartments besides Runcorn's shopping centre. These buildings have stood untouched for almost 10 years and plans to refurbish them have come and gone like tears in the rain. The site is unsafe and there are many signs all over the place that state:

Is Grand Theft Auto 5 Overrated?
Grand Theft Auto. A gaming series that is both famous and infamous among the masses. Parents hate it, but gamers love it! It's been around since 1997 and we have had 16 GTA titles on almost every console from Xbox, PlayStation, PC and even Nintendo Switch! However the latest Grand Theft Auto title is GTA 5 which came out all the way back in 2013, and since then it has had countless re-releases. You'd think GTA 5 would be the magnum opus of the series, but after playing all of the major titles, I have to be honest; GTA 5 is lacking in a lot of areas. In this article I will be going through everything that the previous Grand Theft Auto games have done better than GTA 5. Although I still love the latest installment, you will see by the end of this article how GTA 5 could've been a lot better. Hopefully all of the details mentioned here are available in the upcoming GTA 6 that Rockstar Games recently announced this February.

Is self publishing worth it?
I have been self publishing novels since 2017. It has been a wild ride and I'm still struggling to get the recognition I want, book sales are hard to get when you're a one man act who has to do the editing, promoting and cover design all by yourself. Admittedly I thought self publishing my first novel would be truly life changing, where I would become a full time author, but you'll learn quickly that it's very difficult to get a big hit, especially if you're only independent. I have sold a lot of books, although having a regular job is still the way to go if you need regular income. At first; being self published means you'll only make a small amount of money, which is nice to have some extra cash, but if you're doing it solely for profit, you may be disappointed. Which is why I suggest you should look into self publishing mostly for the passion of storytelling rather than making money. With all that said, I love being a self published author as writing can be a very fun and exciting hobby for me personally. If you're itching to tell good stories and you want to share them with the world, then you should definitely look into it. I've sold books worldwide in countries like American, England, Australia and even Canada. Yet I may only make £20 a month if I am lucky. Just because I haven't been very successful, doesn't mean you won't be. Although being traditional published is the best way to make it as a author, being independent gives you a lot more freedom to write anything you desire, no matter how strange or personal your ideas may be.

Is Cyberpunk 2077 really that bad?
We all know how awful this game's launch was in 2020, the game released in a very poor state which many gamers found appalling! There were game breaking bugs and glitches where the graphics would devolve into a pixelated mess. You would often clip through solid objects, walls and even fall under the map. Not even the story could be saved; as dialogue would often skip or not play, characters within the campaign would often glitch out and look hilariously awful during emotional cutscenes. I could list off all the bizarre and frustrating glitches in Cyberpunk 2077, but we would be here all day! However, it's been way over a year since the game originally released, it's had many updates, patches and even a next gen upgrade. With all of these fixes, can we now finally appreciate this game for what it truly is? Or is Cyberpunk a doomed game regardless.

An interview with a Radio Presenter.
Interview with radio host, Josh Smith. Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Josh Smith, a Radio presenter in Halton who has over 11 years of DJ experience, he currently hosts a show on Halton Community Radio 92.3fm. Outside of HCR92.3fm, Josh has worked for other radio stations around the UK, such as Hermitage fm and RAW Radio! As well as Radio Presenting, Josh Smith has also had many gigs as a commercial DJ. He started off as a teenager at a community centre called COY in Runcorn, which was a social club for teens. He soon taught others at this club how to DJ, before finally making it as a full time Disc Jockey. He's hosted at 3 separate weddings and even at the Conservative Club in Runcorn. I myself have known Josh since we were teens, we're good friends and he has helped me promote my indie books on his radio shows. Over the years; he has interviewed and promoted many famous social influencers; from guitarists, traditional published authors, comedians and other musicians. He has a real passion for show biz and one day wishes to host a show on BBC Radio 1.

After Life - Series Review
After Life is the latest TV series by Ricky Gervais. It is a black comedy about a widowed man named Tony (Ricky Gervais), who is grieving over the death of his wife, Lisa (Kerry Godliman), who has died of cancer. The show's premise is a very heavy and emotional one, that unfortunately (for Ricky Gervais) deserves a top tier script, acting and editing, in order for it to really resonate with audiences. After Life is a good show, but the overall production struggles to really hit those emotional home runs, that the show is aiming for.

Her - Movie Review
When I first watched Her, in 2013, I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen. It was a strange yet intriguing story about Theodore (played by Joaquin Phoenix), who is a writer that works on creating "hand written letters" for a company in Los Angeles. He is a young, but lonely man, who eventually falls in love with an "operating system" (voiced by Scarlett Johansson), named Samantha (similar to that of Alexa), in a not too distant future. This future is fascinating, it's not too sci-fi for it too feel unbelievable, as you can easily imagine everything in this movie becoming a reality. It reminds me of the futures seen in episodes of Black Mirror, where the technological improvements are only minor and the fashion isn't too silly, or unusual to be laughed at. There seems to be a very subtle 1950s retro futurism vibe throughout, where the characters clothes wouldn't look too out of place, even in 2022. Overall; the film has a very pleasing and clean appearance, where the sci-fi isn't too ridiculous, Her feels very realistic and believable, despite being set in "the future".

Scream (2022) Movie Review
Scream (or 5cream, is what I like to call it!) is a satirical slasher movie that unfortunately commits the same clichés it is parodying. Although not a terrible movie, it is still effective in it's horror. There are some scary and gory kills here and there, but they are very few and far between. Instead the movie spends a little too much time trying to catch you up with characters new and old. It has a lot on it's plate! You see, this movie is an attempt to soft reboot the franchise. In typical Scream fashion; we even have a scene of the movie nerd talking about how the plot is similar to that of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy and Ghost Busters Afterlife, how it's essentially a remake of the first movie, but with the legacy characters from the original.

I LOVE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS!
Admittedly, this movie can be a convoluted one! However, it is a treat for die hard fans. The new and "exciting" trend in modern movies today is to have a lot of Meta Humour (lol you're reading a review!) that breaks the fourth wall. Matrix Resurrections satirises this heavily and it can be annoying, however that is kind of the point.

James Bond: No Time To Die - Review.
James Bond: No time to die - Spoiler Review The long awaited Bond sequel is finally here! Does it live up to Daniel Craig's previous films? Or is No Time to Die, not worth your time? Well dear reader, I am a massive James Bond fan, so I know what makes a good Bond film, and a bad one. I will be spoiling parts of the film, as I like to be as detailed and constructive as possible. With that said, I hope you enjoy my review. I will be going through the events of this film step by step, while pointing out things I liked and disliked about each scene.

Born Without Mothers
BORN WITHOUT MOTHERS - PREVIEW This will be my fifth novel, a horrifying satire about the misery of work! In Born Without Mothers; we follow a clone who has been born (or produced) for no other reason but for work. I began writing this after feeling like I was stuck in a dead end job, and how difficult it is to find one that you actually enjoy. It will satire the insane difference between the rich and poor. As the natural humans in this story live a life of luxury, while these clones do all the bad jobs that nobody wants to do. It’s a Dystopian Horror Story, with brutality, cruelty and a epic uprising!
