Will I lose credibility if I use a different name as a Hypnotist?
Let me start out by saying that author's have pen names. Performers have stage name's and some people just do not like their name. Some of us have experimented with using different names, creating new personalities and becoming a different person. This allowed us an opportunity to experiment on ourselves, to learn and grow with life. We can use these changes to develop a powerful rapport with living the way we want to feel. We can take it all to another level by tweaking our personalities and doing things just out of our comfort zone. Admit it. Studying more intensely before a test, preparing to give a presentation and practicing the delivery with jokes and energy isn't always easy. It takes work and often doesn't come together perfectly. This happens to be the way we naturally develop maturity and a solid character to interact with the world. So as we create our own adjustments in approach, delivery, and get feedback, we can better calibrate ourselves with life. If you feel better prepared to explore out from your familiar bubble by using a different name embrace it. Allow your work and your actions to speak on their own merit. Whatever you are not changing you are choosing as a descriptive characteristic for yourself.

Happy World Hypnotism Day
Happy World Hypnotism Day to all! January the 4th is World Hypnotism Day and my hope is it inspires you to go out and trance! World Hypnotism Day doesn’t need you to purchase any gifts, ship cards or even wish each person a glad World Hypnotism Day. Though you might have ore fun if you did. World Hypnotism Day is a celebration of accomplishments in the art of hypnosis and knowledge sharing about all things hypnosis-related. It is a day that MCs, Hypno Doms, Hypno Therapists, and Street Hypnotists can share and celebrate their community. Hypnosis and trance is a exceptional talent that can help human beings to improve diverse aspects of their lives, in addition to being used for fun too!

Is it ethical to suggest to a subject they enjoyed the hypnosis session?
This is a question for more of an advance group of practitioners in my opinion. Recently I received this question and my first thought was to dismiss this question. Is it unethical to give positive commands that the subject enjoyed themselves in a session seems moot, does it not? As I thought about it the person was likely responding to something deeper. The person writing to me argued that these commands rob the subject of the agency to decide for themselves whether or not they liked being hypnotized. How might you answer this question?

Limitations of consciousness: Exploring Attentional Blink
As you shift your attention from one thing of interest to another, a gap in attention called attentional blink occurs in your awareness of the world. It lasts for about half a second, so we barely notice it. The shocking, interesting, or emotionally stimulating event is the more likely we will lose peripheral awareness of anything else outside that event for longer. This phenomenon occurs because our brain has limited attentional resources. If you have ever tried to focus on multiple things at once, and you know you have if you are an active citizen of our modern society. You likely discovered you could not completely hold full attention to all the multi-tasked tasks. You might even have noticed that some things could not be consciously tracked well as you were multitasking and simply slipped right past you unnoticed. This cognitive factor is not often trained by most and yet plays a part in every action we do in society. Everything from following a magic trick, being convinced, hypnotized, and is actionable as we go through the tasks of our day. Just think about driving on a rainy day and talking on the phone or walking across the street as you text on your phone. Sometimes the attentional blink can cost us our life.

The Necessity of Experiential and Personal Development Plans
Consider for a moment that your experience is the product of your actions, thinking, capabilities, opportunities, challenges, and literally your operational living. Think about you and the experience of being you as a business venture with you at the center of it. There are many departments that take care of the things that you don’t have to think about and the details of reports are brought to mind so you can choose the best course of action moving forward. Running a successful business can be harder than you think and you have to find time for yourself amidst the flurry of activity within the habitual routines to function at your best. There’s so much to do and so little time to do it. Even in the highest efficiency operations, there are many things that fall by the wayside on a daily basis and that doesn’t even take into account any emergency that arises. Honestly, it can feel hard sometimes to even do the basic things that we need to keep ourselves together. Our daily experience affects getting a good night’s sleep, our level of hydration, if we get an uninterrupted meal, if we’re craving intimacy, and so much more. Similar to new parents feeling the burnout and tradeoffs from a disjointed routine we will start to imagine the lost time made up for, and what it will be like once their kids are grown. Before life gets to survival mode and dreaming of better days ahead, you’ll need to take a good look at yourself, where you are lacking, where you are thriving, and where you want to go. Just like a business you should take the time to document your life and develop an experiential plan to live well and develop.

Using Neuroscience to Design Life Interaction Through Structured Feedback
Have you ever wished that you could turn up and turn on the natural happy compounds that your brain produces? Imagine how much easier it would make getting out of bed each morning, getting even the most tedious parts of your job done, and finding the energy to consistently show up as your best self for the people in your life. The quest for happiness and pleasure is as persistent and as the human need for survival. Everything we do has the potential expectation attached to it. Eating, sex, companionship, reading, and even making a list. Everything! As we plan we should take into account how the social and natural environment stimulates us and provide feedback for us. Feedback is associated with motivation, satisfaction, and feeling in harmony with the life we live in. This article will be asking you to consider how you are responding to what goes on in your life and how you might plan for that feedback.
