Terrible, Horrible, Very Good Day
Waking up to the blaring alarm, I crawled out of bed. Shivering in the cold, I glanced outside at a blanket of snow. Shaking my head, cursing, and muttering, knowing this was going to be the start of a bad day. Stumbling through the kitchen calling Kane, my dog, as I go to let him out before I rush off to work. My toes found themselves slipping into a warm pile of something clearly made by an animal.

The good deed
Opening his red demonic eyes, the great black dragon Bramafaghast smiled contently over his hoard of platinum, gems, mithril, swords, shields, armor, any goblet or plate one could dream of. Bramafaghast curled up in his silks and wool because even as an evil black dragon he had to have his comforts. A deep growl was heard in the cave as Bramafaghast's stomach lurched, wondering how long it had been since he last ate. Glancing at his dwindling supply of mountain goats he snatched all but one since if he didn’t get anything in his hunt then at least he would have a snack. Bramafaghast then plowed through the cave opening which had been completely covered by snow and flew out into a blizzard that was laced with a darkness that one might only see once in a century.
