Pros And Cons To Zack Snyder’s Justice League
So the long-awaited Snyder-Cut version of Justice League was finally released by fan request. Why is this a big deal? In 2017, Director Zack Snyder had to leave the production of Justice League after a family tragedy occurred. So, director Joss Whedon took over in his place, ultimately becoming one of the reasons why the movie flopped. The movie was hated by both the fans and the actors in the film. Later fans learned about how the movie would have turned out had Zack Snyder stayed as the director, which created the trend #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. Now that the Snyder-Cut has been released, the reviews have been split down the middle and can be a bit overwhelming. If you are still unsure whether or not you should watch the film, here are some pros and cons that might help you decide.

Not Everything Needs To Be A Cinematic Universe
It’s no secret that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is dominating the entertainment industry, and with good reason. So, it’s no surprise that many other studios are attempting to do the same thing. What makes the MCU so successful is the foundation it first laid out with individual characters and stories to get us invested and watch them grow. The Dark Universe failed because it struggled to make people invested in the individual movies and characters. A monster mash-up sounds interesting in theory, but if no time is spent making us care about the movies they’re in then audiences won’t care about the monsters getting together.

The First Time I Ever Felt Seen
I was on my way to join two of my friends at a local pet shop, as I did almost every night around this time. We were preparing to go to our favorite diner like we did almost every night. Of course, we didn’t leave on time because one of my friends is the owner of the pet shop and there is always work to catch up on for him, even when it was closed. None of us was on a time constraint but it didn’t stop my other friend from rushing him. She worked at the pet shop as well, but she has been clocked out for hours and at this point, teasing him was more fun. Of course, they both knew she wasn’t serious. She had been working for him for years and I had only gotten to know him for a short amount of time, but he was friendly and could always hold a conversation about anything so it was easy to open up to him. I was close friends with her, as we have been friends since high school. She can be stubborn and bossy at times, but she also knew how to have fun and always listened when you had something to say. I always looked for a way to get away from my home life, so I would go to the pet shop when they weren’t busy. So it wasn’t long before the three of us started hanging out on a regular basis.

Why The Last Of Us Part II Is Actually Good
There was a lot of backlash over the controversy in TLOU2. Despite what everyone thought of all the twists and turns the game made, there are still good qualities that are being overlooked! The Last Of Us series has always been full of unpredictability, and the second game is no different. If anything, TLOU2 has shown us that no one is safe from the dangers that humanity can make even in the apocalypse. Here’s why The Last Of Us Part 2 is actually good.

The Story Of Roxas
Kingdom Hearts as a whole is very complicated and long. I could write out the length of a term paper to explain the whole story, and it still wouldn’t make sense. One thing KH fans can’t deny is that some of the characters have the most compelling stories in the series. While, Roxas may be the other half of Sora, he is quite the opposite of him, since Sora is happy and quirky and Roxas is troubled and unsure of himself.

Anyone who’s seen the show Avatar: The Last Airbender, knows that everyone loves Uncle Iroh! On the surface, he seems to be a simple man with a love for tea and his nephew Zuko. However, the more the show progresses, the more we learn about him and the lessons he teaches that apply to the show as well as real life.

Some Changes I Would Have Made In The Sequel Trilogy
I respect everyone's opinions on the sequel trilogy, whether you liked it or not. Personally, I think the sequel films had a lot of promise, but turned into a jumbled mess. However, instead on placing the blame on who did what wrong, I'd like to say what changes to the characters and their story arcs I would have made.

Video Games That Are Basically Movies Pt. 1
Life Is Strange: For a game with awkward dialogue, it makes up for in story! You play as Max Caulfield, a shy, high school senior who has a passion for photography. When she witnesses the murder of her old best friend, Chloe Price, Max finds out that she can rewind time! The game is all about the butterfly effect, that actions have consequences. as you progress through the story, the choices you make can control the outcome of what will happen next! However, the game also gives you chances to stop and enjoy the world around you. The game's dreamlike design and beautiful music can really make you feel immersed in the world! I highly recommend that everyone tries to play this series at least once!

Gatekeeping Is Dumb, And "Real" Fans Don't Exist
Anyone who is a fan of anything in pop culture will tell you that in any fandom, there will be toxic fans. Which is true, and that can't be helped. However, it seems there is a growth of unnecessary gatekeeping and attacks on creators, artists, and other fans just to call themselves "real fans."

Lessons Animation Taught Us: A Bojack Horseman Character Study
In 2018, a Youtube channel called Filmjoy released a video called Lessons Animation Taught Us. Which inspired many content creators to make similar videos on their own explaining their own lessons that were taught to them from animation, as was it's intended goal! Now I'm going to make one of my own. I'm going to be talking about my favorite show of all time, Bojack Horseman! Many people have told me that they refuse to watch the show because of how real it is. But I think it's because of that reason, everyone should watch the show. Because the show is so complex, I can't begin to talk about it all. So I'm just going to talk about some of my favorite characters and what the taught me as they transition to the beginning of the show to the end!
