Local Heroes
Dear Heroes, To all the community helpers that go unnoticed and are under appreciated, thank you for all that you do to make sure we are all safe and protected. To the Fire Departments for making sure that all the fires and drill are taking care of so we don’t have to worry about our houses burning or crop getting lost in flames, going out there and risking your lives to protect us. To the paramedics, nurses, and doctors making sure that we get taken care of when we are injured and have medical issues especially during these trying times with Covid, being there even when putting yourselves at risk. To the Police Department for handling our 9-1-1 calls with car and sincerity, for patrolling and ensuring that we can all go about our days with a peace of mind, for handling emergency situations in a timely manner so we can go about our days. To the military men and women for going out there and protecting us even if they aren’t the front lines, even to mechanics, clerical, and admin, thank you for servicing the country and making sure we will have a future and are safe from people who would want to hurt us. To the teachers that decided they would work and do in school learning even though they could be at risk, you didn’t have to work or be in school but, you did it anyways so our kids could learn. You’ve put yourself on the line for our kids and are giving them the opportunity to grow and learn even with a pandemic, you guys are selfless and think of the children, thank you for taking them in and showing them that anything is possible. You’ve showed them how to be safe and protect themselves during a pandemic, you took the dark and scary time and turned it into the perfect listen to not back down when something is in their way, they will look back on this moment and remember when you guys didn’t give up on them and forever be greatful that they had the teachers supporting them every step of the way. Last but not least thank you to my regular civilian community neighbors, the personal shoppers, grocery workers, delivery drivers, and postal workers. Thank you all for going out during Covid to ensure that we still get what we need, to doing our shopping and delivering our products when you could be at risk too, for not just thinking of yourself but also thinking of everyone else. Thank you to all the people that have went out and worried and risked their lives to make sure everyone else was provided for and had that they needed. No one asked you guys to help but get here you are without a second thought, without even thinking about it. You guys offered and were willing to go out there and assist the people in your community during there’s trying times so we didn’t have to. Thank you for protecting us, sheltering is, and thinking of us. People today don’t always think of thanking the fire department, police department, teachers, nurses, medics, doctors, or even the grocers, shoppers or delivery drivers, so that’s why you guys are my heroes because without you, I wouldn’t have what I have. I couldn’t go out and get my groceries or shop for things I needed, so thank you and I hope now you know how appreciated and noticed you are. I see you and I thank you for all your hard work and dedication for all that you do.
