The Runaway Train By Jessie Jones I Madeline Stewart decided to call her friend Eclipse. I was feeling down and depressed. Eclipse made fun of her for nonsensical things. For example, I used to wear extra tight dresses to get a boy's attention that she just had to meet. But Eclipse never fails to defend her when others put me down, she thought. I remember wearing pink and purple hair dye because I thought it was trendy in college. Eclipse refused to let me out of the college dorm until I looked like an average person. Eclipse was like that; she was my ride-or-die friend. We had been friends since college. Moreover, she was more than a friend, closer than a sister, and knew my soul and what made me tick. Eclipse was like a soulmate in a girlfriend's body.
