As I stood, at the edge of the cliff, my rainbow painted toes dangling off into space, I could hear the sound of the raging river far below. The rocks were digging into my bare feet, soft and fresh from a pedicure earlier in the day. One slip, one misstep or, one deliberate walk into the void was all it would take.
