Resumé To Heaven
Dear Journey, today is the day! It’s early enough to do what it is we came to do. After the shower for about an hour, I have to cook breakfast. Intensely immersed on purpose, nothing more to focus on; I’m going with a goal and a dream. “This your servant on your team”. I said, “send me, I’ll go into this day but, first before I go, let me look out the window this day”. I have put on my best look, and be the best at running errands for the few members of the family . This new world I found of helping others is my best decision yet. All it took was a lot of think and much motivation. Doubt, fear, and procrastination you must leave. So many wonderful things to achieve, so I’ll go live out this dream; the only real conclusion or at least it seems. Without perseverance and dedication, working to build a strong community seems obsolete. It’s not a matter of harsh conditions most people encounter but more so the tedious effort of ever educating others and being helpful works. Believing in the unseen is my dream. Realizing it’s by effort to make the dream a reality; there are somethings I’d have to peruse. This is what I’ll do, I would write a list of all the ingredients to form a brighter future for each and everyone in any community. Manners and morals would be in the top of the list, added with compassion and patience could give our country a lift. Mornings would be filled with exuberant passion even at our lowest points. Allowing each individual to feel just as relevant as the last is a step forward. Striving to achieve goals together to live a better day, the best I can offer is having kindness lead the way. This is not a claim to the perfect solution, but if we can agree to care for one another; we all can do what seems impossible at times. Most certainly as a starter we can achieve anything by taking the steps to accomplish anything. I know putting words to action results come quickly, consistency in the equation conquers many things. Caring for each other is the true meaning of family. Having love towards one another and continuing in the greater good is more rewarding than anything else that we can do. This dream is on the break through in coming true. Taking more efforts in the little steps and agreeing along the way that collectively we want to see better days. The best part of improving our community is that there is no requirement for you to do, the position is your job and its self fulfilling. We need the efforts of everyone, young or old is always something to improve and impact everything. As humanly possible we move in a positive direction each community will become a better world for everyone to live in. Of course with great leadership we are heading in the right direction. This dream is not exclusive, it’s universal and everyone can do it. Simply start that we get together, like loving one another, knowing we are all sisters and brothers, sons and daughters from different parts of the globe. Love I found is true, and if you work love, love will work for you. The hope to start little strides and sooner than later we can challenge each other to greater accountability. Let’s consider us as a garden awaiting to bloom. I had to start with me as I got in your mirror and took a look. I decided to be a better version of what I dreamed the possibility of unity should be. No new adventure is easy, but the outcome is much more desirable than not putting great effort to manifest a dream. No try for greatness is ever an effortless lesson, even when it seems your the only one with the dream. Perfection is a tool of the heart we work on silently. Each day of practice, one by one we can all exceed the notion that it’s impossible for everyone to come together and make the world a better place. We would all live harmoniously together, everyone with their own dreams.The formula is to just keep mixing joint efforts with a laughter and motivation building a strong team. Following this regimen would simply be so amazing!

The Little Black Book
Dear Diary, Beware of distractions they come so fast and between when you're so close to your goals being achieved. You can be engaged in learning the most rewarding self improvement techniques ever when Alvin comes along with his mocha smooth skin, puppy brown eyes, dreadlocks dripped hugging his tightly designed four pack and a killer smile, and takes away your attention of your growth and focus on becoming your greatest you. I’ve told myself this time I was not going to fall for another personal trainer; this time I will not gaze deeply into his eyes and see him and vision us at the altar. Besides, I don’t even know if he likes my hair in an updo or Shirley Temple’s curls with a flower gently placed behind my left ear. It must be a trend now how everyone is going out on a limb somehow to make it to the gym now. I might be on defense now that I see how Alvin’s grin shows me that he wants me in the locker room right now. Talk to you soon,

The Little Black Book
Skii was at a rock and a hard place. As she thought back to a few months ago her and Caren trip to Mexico was much needed but now she’s facing a hard reality. Bills were piled up high on the dining room table. The influx of messages on the answering machine from debt collectors threatening car repossession, house foreclosure. Having only a remaining of 5 payments. “This can’t be real” said skii as she skipped through the voice messages. Quickly this placed her drastically at her wit’s end. Trying to come up with more ways to make ends meet she rebooted her sales special at The Kitty Kat Wax Factory. Sitting on the floor of her walk in closet Skii eagerly rummaged through her luggage hoping to find unspent cash. A little black Italian leather notebook fell to the floor and in it was a flyer for open mic. First prize was $500. “I have to win this” she thought as her search was hopeless. The phone rang. Skii picked up, it was her sister Caren.

The Wrong Kiss
December 2003 How did I get here? Naked in her bed. How did I make the wrong decision twice? Are the thoughts that ran through Savanna’s head as they were packing the moving truck heading back to New Jersey. Sleeping with Amanda was a mistake beyond mistakes. Sometimes revenge should not be your only option she said to herself as her thoughts was racing a million miles per minute “This is a lot of furniture for only the two of us to be moving” said Amanda breaking Savanna’s thoughts “ Where will you store all this furniture”?

Spill The Tea
I’m 41 and haven’t lived my life or truth yet. I have been silenced before I was able to speak up for myself. Is it frustrating? Yes. As early as I can remember my voice and opinions were slowly taken from me, slowly placing me not just in a shell, but in a spiral of hate for others and more so hate of my self. It all started when my mom’s got arrested. At the age of 9 I had to be an adult. I had no idea what the world was like; cruel and cold like the C&C sodas I grew accustomed to drinking after awhile, it was all I cold afford; that a $.25 little Debbie cake and a bag of chips back when potatoe chips was a quarter. We called them cheap and cold. It all took place after my mom and I moved into a one bedroom apartment in a townhouse complex. My moms was over protective of me so I was not allowed to play with the neighborhood kids let alone join the local boys and girls club. As the new superintendent my moms was always on call and never home, something like before we moved. After a few a year living there my mother finally allowed me to play outside with the other kids. I was eager to play with the neighbors; they ran a candy store out their house and that was so cool. Back where I was from you had to go to the cellar to buy candy or to old lady Ms Green house. Sometimes her cookies and frozen cool aid cups tasted funny but they had real candy and snacks like a real store. I guess I raved on it so much that gradually I was permitted to visit the neighbors house. Thinking back now I should have been satisfied with my moms strict rules. I persisted so much that it lead up to spending the night over. I thought it was cool to have girls to play with being as though I had no family in this new city we moved to. But that’s when all the youth got sucked out of me. I was trapped. This old lady who presented her self as the sweetest grandma alive had a deep dark hatred inside her. She had the green eyes. Little did I know it at the time, it all unraveled when her husband died.
