A New Earth

It was a strange reality to grasp. The world as we once knew no longer existed. Humans have reaped what they sow. Our planet finally having enough of the damage sought revenge by releasing hazardous pollutants into the air, but truly at the end of the day, every human being played a part in this apocalypse. No one knows exactly what caused this: some say it was a chemical leak into the air from a factory while others say that our oceans turning brown over time was slowly poisoning the air we were breathing, but in reality, it seems to be both. I don't know what to believe, but I do know that the ocean was once alive and blue and that I could take a deep breathe without thinking twice about it. Everyone thought that it was all a hoax, but now look where we are, gasping and begging for clean air and struggling to find water. People fled to parts of the world that might still have Life. Life meaning lush forests where the air isn't toxic and drinkable water, but nobody truly knows if it even exists. One thing is for sure, the city is not the place to be. One whiff of the city air, and you'll find yourself choking to death. As harsh that is to say, the world we now know has woken up and is eliminating the humans and spirits with evil intentions.
