Hope For Love
Jennifer Sullivan was a sophomore in college. She went to Georgia Southern University. She loved to sing, dance, party, hang with friends, and she loved school. She always got straight A’s and was doing everything she could to participate a lot in school. But there was one thing she loved about Georgia Southern. BOYS!!! Even though school was important to her, boys was the second thing she thought about. There was this one particular guy on her mind, and he was in her choir class. Every class period, she would stare at him, but she was too shy to talk to him. His name was Jermaine. He was a junior in college and played varsity football and basketball. He liked Jennifer but didn’t know how to approach her yet. So, he decided to ask her best friend for her number so he could talk to her. She gave it to him and decided to text her. Jermaine: Hey what’s up? This is you Jermaine from choir. Jennifer: Ummmm, hi? This is a random text message. How did you get my number? Jermaine: Your friend Emily gave it to me today. I wanted to talk to you in person, but I didn’t know how to approach you. Jennifer: I thought you wasn’t shy to talk to girls. Cause every time I see you, you are always talking to them. Jermaine: I’m not shy, its just you are different. I mean you are beautiful, talented, and smart. Besides those girls that I talk to are not worth my time, but you are. Jennifer: Wow I don’t know what to say. I mean no guy has ever said anything to me like that before. Jermaine: Well to me you are special. Even though we don’t really talk you are special and I really want to get to know you better. Jennifer: That’s fine with me. Jermaine: Okay, I was wondering if you would like to hang out tonight. Like maybe go to the mall or to the movies or maybe to the park? Jennifer: Yea that would be nice. I need to go buy me some new clothes anyways, so let’s meet at the mall. Jermaine: Okay, I will do that. Meet me in an hour and we will hang out. Jennifer: Okay see you in an hour. Jennifer took her a shower and got dressed. She put on some blue skinny jeans, a halter top that showed her boobs very clearly. She wore some heels. She straightened her hair. She was trying to impress Jermaine. She had to make one stop before she went and that was to drop her little brother off at his friend’s house for the weekend. So, Jennifer and Jermaine met up at the mall and decided to just walk around. Jennifer said that she needed to buy some clothes. So, they went into FOREVER 21 and she found 4 pairs of jeans that she wanted to try on. So she went into the dressing room and tried on the first pair. She called Jermaine over so she could get his opinion and he said that they looked good on her. So, he decided to barge his way in the room with her. He started kissing her and rubbing on her. Then they started taking each other’s clothes off still kissing each other. Then he went down on her and started eating her out. Then they had sex. Jennifer was a freak. When they were done Jermaine said that he was going to the bathroom. Jennifer cleaned herself up and then tried on the other jeans. When she left out the dressing room, everybody was staring at her. Jermaine came back and told her that she didn’t have to buy her clothes because he doesn’t want his girl buying her own stuff. They left the store, Jennifer blushing, and Jermaine carrying the bags. They decided to get something to eat. So, they went to the food court. They got some Chinese food. They were talking about what happened in the store and how they both enjoyed it. Jermaine said that he doesn’t know what came over him. Then all of a sudden, Jennifer’s ex-boyfriend showed up out of nowhere fussing and cussing. They guess he overheard their conversation. Abdul was 25 years old and was still in love with Jennifer. She broke up with him a year ago because he cheated and got the girl pregnant. Jennifer told Abdul to leave her and her boyfriend alone before they called the cops. He left but was still heated. Jennifer apologized to Jermaine and he accepted it. She told him about how her and Abdul used to talk and hang out and stuff, but to her it wasn’t that serious. She said she was starting to fall in love with him but then found out that he was cheating on her. So, she told Jermaine to forget about the past. He asked her if what she said before was true. She asked if what was true. He said about the part where you called me your boyfriend and she said yes. She told him to come by later so they could hang out more. She didn’t stay on campus because she felt it was too much. So she went home, took another shower and before she could even get dressed, Jermaine was there knocking on the door. So she put a towel on and opened the door. Jermaine looked her and said “Damn baby you just knew what time I was going to be here, didn’t you? Now come over here and give me some love. I know its only been some hours since we were at the mall, but I missed you and everything you got.” Everything started at the mall. A few weeks later, Jennifer saw that she missed her period and decided to go see a doctor. The doctor told her that she was pregnant. She went home and the first person she called was her mom. She told Jennifer to keep it because they wanted a grandchild no matter what. Then after her talk with her parents, she called Jermaine and told him that she was pregnant. He told her that he would do all he could to make her and the baby happy. He wanted them to have the best life they could ever live for. They decided to get married and to move into Jennifer’s 2-bedroom apartment. They bought a crib, a baby swing, bottles, books, blankets, diapers, and milk. When the baby was well formed enough to tell the sex of the baby, they went into the doctor’s office. They found out they were having twins and that they were girls. When 9 months came, Jennifer went into labor. She gave birth to 2 beautiful girls. On November 2, 2008, Khalil Lala Bryant who was 7 pounds 6 ounces, and Tierra Marie Bryant who was 7 pounds 5 ounces. They were so happy to have Khalil and Tierra home because the house would be nothing without them. When Jennifer and Jermaine brought the twins home, it was a wonderful moment. They showed the twins their room and their beds. A month went by and they enjoyed every single day except the fact that every few hours they had to wake up. Two months passed and they decided to go out for a family outing and go to the park and have a picnic. Jennifer lost her stomach after the twins because she was always working out. While they were at the park, Abdul showed up with some of his friends. Somehow he always know where Jennifer will be at. Abdul said, “Hey, Jennifer how are you been doing lately?” Jennifer said, “I been fine just spending time with my husband and taking care of my girls. What about you?” Abdul said, “Well you know, just trying to make my money and making a living.” For about 5 minutes there was complete silence. Then Jennifer said, “What do you want from me?” Abdul said, I want you back and I want us to be happy and stay together for the rest of our lives.” Then Jermaine said, “Hey man, I advise you to back off my wife, she is happily married with kids. She told me about you and her back in the day and how you used to stalk her.” Abdul looked at Jennifer and said, “Really, Jennifer? I never stalked you. If you think that I was stalking, you then you are wrong. I just followed you to make sure that you were safe and that no one tried to hurt you.” She said, “Boy you were always stalking me and then one day you decided that you were going to take my virginity and I wasn’t ready, so you raped me.” Jermaine stepped in because Jennifer started to cry. He said, “Abdul, just leave because you are making yourself look worse.”’ So he left and Jermaine tried to calm Jennifer down. Jennifer calmed down and got herself together.

The Tragic Accident
In a small little town in Kansas, there lived a boy who loved to play basketball. Everyday after school, he always went to the park with his friends. His name was Arnell Jackson. He was in the 11th grade and was already the star player and captain. He got all A’s, and he helped his family a lot. His mom was sick, and his dad was too busy for anything dealing with his own family. Arnell had to take care of everyone and everything. He had to make sure his baby sister got to daycare and that his younger twin brothers got to school. He had to do all of that and then get to school on time. Arnell was the kind of guy that never said no. he had a girlfriend named Symone. She was the captain of the cheerleading squad. She loved to cheer at all of Arnell’s games. Everyday they rode to school together and rode home together. One day, one of Arnell’s aunts came to visit and she told Arnell that he could go out with his friends and girlfriend, because he needed to get out more. So, he decided to go pick up Symone and then go meet his friends. They all decided to go to a party and have fun. Arnell and his friends were drinking and smoking and having a good time. Then about 2 in the morning they decided to go to the beach. Arnell told Symone to get in the car because they were leaving. Arnell couldn’t drive because he was so drunk, but he drove anyway. Symone was so scared for her life and his that she started crying and panicking. Arnell turned to her and said, “Symone I Love You with all my heart and I would never want to lose you. But if something happens to me tonight tell my family that I am sorry. Tell them that I never meant to hurt them or leave them how I did. Tell them I love them.” After Arnell finished Symone started crying even more because she knew that he was going to do something crazy. Arnell and his friends were about 5 miles from the beach, when suddenly Arnell passed out while driving and Symone couldn’t move him to control the car. She tried and tried to take her seatbelt off so she could get out of the car, but it was too late. By the time she got her seatbelt off, they had got hit by a semi-truck. Arnell was crushed because it hit his side. Symone was alive and moving. The truck driver got out and checked to see who was in the car. He saw that Symone was banged up bad and that Arnell was on the hood of the car. He called 911 and gave them the location of where the accident was. They came and got both Arnell and Symone and took them to the hospital. Symone was okay except for a broken leg, some cuts and bruises. Arnell on the other hand was still alive but was in a full body cast and was in a coma. He had to have surgery when he got to the hospital, because glass and what ever else they could find was stuck in his body. He friends got to the hospital with his aunt and siblings. The doctor told them that they could see him but he was in a coma. The little one’s couldn’t go in because they were too young and everyone didn’t know how they would react. So one of the nurses volunteered to take them around the hospital and show them some of the things that happens there. Arnell’s aunt and friends were crying so much because they couldn’t believe that it really happened. After they visited with Arnell, they went to see how Symone was doing. They saw that she was awake and feeling okay and they saw her cast. They all apologized for what happened and then went home. A few weeks later Arnell’s family got a call saying that Arnell didn’t come out of his coma and that he died. It was a sad day that and they didn’t know how to tell Symone that her boyfriend was gone. So they did the best they could. Arnell’s friends went over and said, “Symone, we know that you have been through a lot lately, and we know that you are hurting, but we have some bad news. The hospital called today and said that Arnell didn’t make it.” Symone started bursting into tears. They gave her a hug one by one and told her everything was going to be alright and that if she needed anything, then to let them know. Symone took that offer and within the next week or so she was back on her feet. Symone thought to herself that she was never going to be happy again. She called one of Arnell’s friends whose name was J’ron and told him that she needed some advice and guidance. So he came over to keep her company. Symone asked him if he feels guilty about what happened to Arnell. He said, “Symone, Arnell was my best friend and I loved him like he was my younger brother, but we all do crazy things in life and this is one of those crazy things that we do. Arnell was your boyfriend and I know you loved him. I am sorry that you lost somebody that you really loved. No, I am not guilty about what happened but I am upset.” Symone was kind of glad that she had someone that understood what she was going through. They started hanging out with each other more and more everyday to comfort one another. When they went back to school, Symone and J’ron hung out a lot and they started talking not just as friends but more than that. They talked on the phone every night about their futures and where they plan on going after college. They saw that they both had the same kind of interests and that they might be going to the same college. They decided to just go ahead and be a couple. Arnell had already told them both that if something ever happened to him, that J’ron would be the one to take the role of caring for Symone. They both decided to go to Georgia Southern. They got married and had 2 beautiful girls right after college.
