The Earth Needs YOU!
By, Janelle Medina 05/16/21 Growing up in Colorado I have been blessed to be apart of a community that experiences the beauty that comes with all 4 seasonal changes each calendar year. It would be no surprise to step outside on a hot sunny day, then within minutes it could be raining or snowing and bitter cold. There have been many episodes where you could whiteness these weather changes in just one single day. Natives of Colorado like myself are wise to include a water bottle, a warm jacket, a blanket, an umbrella, and a snow scraper in our cars “for emergency” kit. Coloring Rainbows moving forward
Gazing out through my windowpane, my eyes look up towards a Rainbow; left in the sky after the rain. Its brilliant colors stretch beyond the ability for me to see, from where I am standing. Each color within its arch shares uniquely diverse attributes that inspired me to become the woman that I am. I am Red with intangible passion for life, aroused with an "all-pervading" power to love. inspired by things that are alive and good I have been given the strength to push past my own limitations from which the color orange can derive and even though I cannot tame my inquisitive mind, I fall victim of yellow’s tendency of causing me to become mentally analytical of things but as grounding is inspired by the color Green, restoration comes from regaining balance in my life empowering me from tendencies of being over cautious and stabilizes my strengths of kindness, loyalty, and high Moral sense. And although I might be conservative and predictable at times my need for direction, peace, and relaxation shines best by the tranquil and trusts of blue. Such as aligning myself behind The Golden Rule I advocate for mutual respect, fairness, and doing what is Right. Exemplified by each symbolic meaning of both color shades Indigo and purple. Eventually the Rainbow I see in front of me will fade, the pride inside of the Rainbow that makes me, me shall always remain continually growing, frequently learning, always enhancing the projection of my harmonious colors amongst all of humanity.

My legitimate path towards self discovery- through music.
As far as I can remember, music has always allowed me to release pent-up emotions that I have held in. I can recall times and situations as a teenager using lyrics from songs as a way to cope with the uncertain paths I faced in my life while growing up.
