Who Are the CIOB? The CIOB are the Chartered Institute of Building and are a recognised institute around the world for setting high standards and providing excellent education within the construction industry. Many individuals wish to become Chartered Members of the CIOB, and can do so through several routes, such as the CMP or by progressing through the membership ranks. The Chartered Membership is the membership that many construction professionals aim for, with entry level Associate membership as a good stepping-stone. Extremely well-established members can earn themselves a Fellowship and become known as FCIOB, an honour for many who hold the title.
