What is a Large Diameter Steel Pipe?
Large diameter steel pipe is used for bracing, casing, jack and boring installations, sign poles, caissons, and combination walls, among other things. Nucor Skyline has a long history of producing Large diameter pipe structures. Spiral weld pipe is available in sizes ranging from 24" to 120" OD, while rolled and welded pipe is available in sizes ranging from 24" to 204" OD. Wall thicknesses of up to one inch for spiral weld and two and a half inches for rolled and welded pipe.
