Horse shoes
Horse shoes were invented around 1000 AD in Europe. It is believed that they were first used by the Celts to protect their horses' hooves from wear and tear caused by the rough terrain they traveled on. The first horse shoes were made of iron and were nailed onto the hooves of horses. This invention allowed horses to travel longer distances and carry heavier loads, which made them more useful for transportation and farming. Today, horse shoes are still used for the same purpose and are an essential part of horse care.Horse shoes were invented around 1000 AD in Europe. Although horses in the wild seem to do quite well without shoes over a wide variety of terrain, they move at a slow pace.
