Timeless moments
Life possesses an uncanny ability to flow through our fingers, often without us realizing it. Each day becomes a whirlwind of tasks, where individuals find themselves hastily attempting to meet deadlines, chasing after ambitious goals, and navigating an unrelenting barrage of notifications on various platforms. As a result, time can slip by unnoticed, with weeks—even months—vanishing without meaningful engagement in the richness of existence. It is essential to consider the idea that the most valuable experiences may not lie solely in extraordinary achievements but rather in the myriad of subtle, everyday occurrences that often go unacknowledged.

Journeys of the Soul
There are moments in life when a single journey can redefine who we are, shifting our perspectives on the world and ourselves in ways we never anticipated. For me, that journey was to Tanzania—a land of breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cultures, and warm-hearted people who taught me more about life, resilience, and humanity than I could have ever learned from books or documentaries.

Traditional Medicine in Africa. Content Warning.
It is based on my personal experience as a volunteer in a rural clinic in Kenya in the year 2000. I had always been fascinated by the healing practices of different cultures, and when I saw an opportunity to join a medical mission in Africa, I jumped at the chance. I wanted to learn more about the local herbs, rituals and beliefs that were used to treat various ailments and diseases. I also wanted to help the people who had limited access to modern health care and resources.

The Tree Guardians
The young generation of the village had a mission: to save the ancient trees that were threatened by the logging company. They had grown up listening to the stories of their elders, who told them how the trees were sacred and had a spirit of their own. The trees provided them with food, medicine, shade, and protection from the storms. They were also a source of beauty and inspiration for the villagers, who carved their names and symbols on the trunks and branches.
