The Shining Point

A figure ran through the dancing shadows cast by torches lining a narrow corridor. He was almost there. Just a little further and he could find the lever that would allow them to move on and find the exit out of this place. After a few more turns around dusty dimlit corners, he finally arrived at his destination. Stepping forward cautiously, he firmly planted his feet so as to properly grip the lever with both hands. With a grunt and one final exertion of strength the sound of stone grinding against stone could be heard as a door began opening somewhere nearby, but beyond his view.
