Every year on April 22nd, more than a billion people across over 190 countries unite for a common cause—to celebrate and protect the planet we all call home. What started in 1970 as a student-led environmental protest in the United States has grown into the largest civic observance in the world: World Earth Day. More than just a date on the calendar, Earth Day is a global call to action, a day to reflect on our impact and reaffirm our responsibility to safeguard the Earth’s future.
