My Lady Moon
It’s peaceful here, in my silence and cocoon. Resting endlessly underneath the ever glowing hue of my lady moon. The rain falls heavy but it feels so good in the darkness I easily consume. It crashes against every surface. Eliminating its path, and indefinitely leaving its mark; imprinting me with her earthy, light perfume.

To the monster that shared my bed. Do you remember the fear on my face, and the words you mumbled? Because I do. I remember the stinch of your breath as it hit the nap of my neck. Raising all the hairs, like an electrical current surging through my body.

In A Women’s Head
So, we are women. Big deal. Growing up, I remember just how different the world was. Well at least to women anyways. Y’all, I’m 26. I know what you’re thinking. Well, maybe not. “You’re so young!” I know. “What could you possibly have learned by 26.” And I always laugh about this, because let me tell you I have learned so much.
