Hiking boots each day Terrain unknown, I climb on Rarely at the top

Hiking boots laced up Terrain unknown, journey on Climbing with purpose
Be in each moment Feeling the rock under foot Climbing with purpose
You may hold me back, But you hold my heart and soul They’ll never get it.
I fall into you. You embrace me; breathe me in I surrender, yours.
Like mountains we’re shaped Formed by nature and others No one can fault us.
The mountains are shaped Formed by nature and others No one can fault them.
Most of the journey Is on the way up or down The top is the crown.
With peaks come valleys Plateaus too; uphill and down Keep on moving.
Each mountain stands tall We all have a history Use it to build up.
Stand strong supported By only myself; no one Else to bolster me.
Self-love regardless Shoulders back, eyes to the sky It's my life; it's mine.
