The legend of Rico and Sable
The air spun about them like a ballet. The tiny island floated above the world and spun with gentleness. Serenity and peace were the rules of thumb. At least, they would have been if Rico would stop kicking at the dirt with his shoe.

Tug of War
The arena lit up with the wild cheering of ecstatic fans. Cameras flashed and strobed, and men and women shouted battle cries into the air. A rhythm pulsed from one side of the room to the other, a sort of tug-of-war between two groups who called for blood. All eyes were on the ring. The opponents drenched the mat with sweat and they smelled of hot blood. Rudy wore electric blue shorts and white boxing gloves. They reminded him of his conversation before the match.

The Mountains Call
Fonn was old. He was not sure how old he was, he couldn’t remember anymore. He sat outside his yurt, the cold wind bristling against his bald head. Pulling his robe tighter, he wondered how long it had been since his last meal. This thought led to other ideas, and Fonn’s mind began to chase after the past. When was his last meal? How long had he been in this desolate place? What happened to his wife? His Family?
