A Villain in My Sheets

I just didn’t understand that woman, my mother I mean. What grown woman needs her mother to set her up on a blind date? Do not answer that question because the answer is sadly, obvious. My mom is so damn traditional and of course me being 32 with no kids, or even a boyfriend, just makes her cringe. Her and my father have been together since the 8th grade, and I am clearly the outcast in the family.
