Once we arrived at the top, I could see this beautiful private bar nestled in the corner. Adrian looked at me with a devilish yet playful smile, as he was pouring us each a glass of whiskey. This beloved series centers on four women sharing a home together as well as their lives. We have Blanche Devereaux (Rue McClanahan), Dorothy Zbornak (Bea Arthur), Rose Nylund (Betty White), and Sophia Petrillo (Estelle Getty) to thank for creating such a treasure that holds a special place in my heart as well as many others. Dear High School
Dear High School, I will never miss you. You forced me to be up at the earliest of hours, despite science proving that is unhealthy for minors. You swallowed us whole for eight hours out of every single day, pumping us with verbiage pertaining to mostly useless information. Where were you when I needed to know how to file my taxes? Where were you when I needed to know how to build credit? To save for retirement? You would scream at as constantly that college was the answer to life after high school, you jammed it down our throats to where we felt asphyxiated from the pressure. You failed to make it known to us that there were other options for us to pursue, that there were many avenues we could take to achieve happiness. So where the hell were you when we drove ourselves into thousands of dollars in debt, never knowing the true implications of our actions, whilst more than likely never holding a job that our degree was supposed to help us obtain?

My Mutated Eye
You have a half hazel and half blue eye? What could that mean? Gasp! It's heterochromia! When I was younger, about 8 or so, I went to a music concert my sister was performing at with my parents. As we were standing out in the lobby, the dazzling (yet oh so bright) chandeliers made it very easy for my parents to notice and point out my multi-colored left eye. This was something I shrugged off because at that age, I really didn't care about much besides cartoons and pizza. That is, until the color change became more drastic. At first it had started out as a tiny sliver of brown, and then over the next couple years it gradually changed to where exactly one half was hazel, the other half remaining blue.

A Furry Love Story
It was a cold April 3rd of 2019 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I had just woken up, and my partner and I of that time had some errands to run. We had to get groceries and have some Panda Express of course (our favorite). Out in the plaza where Walmart is there is a Petsmart. Occasionally we would like to run in there just to browse. In the back of that particular store there is a separate room full of adoptable cats from the local SPCA. There was one that particularly stuck out to me because her description card read that she could say "mama". I felt a warm feeling in my chest. This meeting was kismet. I immediately went to fill out an adoption application. Within a few days I was approved to come pick up Delilah and take her home with me!
