Challenger
I've heard wind of a so-called impossible game. The most difficult challenge in our star system yet. It was made by this crazy dude who wanted to see something interesting happen in this new world. The reward itself isn't half bad either. A claim on one of the many plots of land in the arena. I'll have to go and check it out soon, if I want to have any chance of winning. A few people took the challenge a few years ago when it opened, no one has heard from them since.

An Adventurer's Spirit
These days are dull, sure scientists were wrong about how far technology could go and pushed us into a technological utopia. But, what's the point? There is nothing left to discover anymore. Everything is easy, simple and for some reason the whole world is OK with that. I want some fun, I want some excitement and the new hyper-reality TV ain't going to cover that. It's stupid I know, why can't I just be happy that we stopped wars probably forever, and solved world hunger and global warming and the expansion of our freaking sun. There's no reason for anything anymore, with new advancements every day, soon even dying will be optional and you will be able to choose how old you want to look. What kind of life is that?

A Twist in the Road
I'm a very straight forward kind of guy. What's the point of making things complicated when it doesn't have to be. Just follow the straight and narrow and you will get to where you are going. I have followed that belief for sixteen years and so far, it has served me well.

Bedtime Voices
It was a late September evening when it all started. A little past ten O'clock. The sun had already set, and the night sky had filled with stars. The crickets were playing a somber tune outside, filling the air with a melody of sorrow and solitude. I remember that day like it was yesterday, I get a sense of peace thinking back on it now. It all happened over a year ago, when the voice started whispering to me.

The Silence
It was dark that evening, for a summer night anyway. There was no breeze, and no sounds coming from the surrounding forest. A rare but not unheard of phenomenon that the locals call, "The Silence." They always tell the kids to stay quieter than a mouse sneaking around on a carpeted floor. I never understood why the adults hated these nights, but I guess I can't really complain. I get to enjoy the silence and search for what everyone else so fears.

A Solemn Builder's Tale
It was a cold and windy evening when the Builder arrived. She looked at me with eyes colder than a winter gale and a gaze deeper than the deepest sea. I saw a deep pain in her eyes, something of a faint haze that encapsulated her longing stare. She was the first person I had seen in many months, the people here don't come outside anymore.
