History of the Chess Game
The origins of chess. There’s some speculation among historians on the roots of the game, but the one version that’s most commonly referred to is the following: chess originated from the ancient Indian game “chaturanga” in the 6th century. This game was similar in configuration, but naturally, the chess pieces, if we can even call them that, had different roles to play and moved differently across the board.
