Mr. Reed is an entrepreneur, writer and lover of art that lives with his two children in Southeastern Utah. Between work, his hobbies (dabbling as a beekeeper and gardener) and raising his children as a single father, he keeps himself busy.

Black is Back in Banking and Business
Apparently being black is better than ever, and I should say it’s about time that the world knew this. If you don’t know what I am talking about, then listen close because I don’t like repeating myself. More and more people of diverse backgrounds, upbringing and heritage are making headway into the top echelons of the world. They are turning the tired concept of inequality upside down and inside out. Whether through Real Estate, Wall Street, Technology, Government, Finance, or other industries - diversity of leadership is getting more apparent. More and more examples of empowered minorities are making the news.

Bitcoin Origins, Operations, Happenings, Objectives and Offerings (uh, BOOHOO for short?). Top Story - February 2021.
Who? The first thing that should be covered is, “Who came up with Bitcoin?” followed by, “Who actually gives a darn about Bitcoin?” The answer to the first question is complicated, but in short involves the name Satoshi Nakamoto. Anyone wanting to honor the founder(s) of Bitcoin should know that name, and it matters because nobody really knows for sure who Satoshi Nakamoto really is. The name is universally considered a pseudonym (meaning it is very likely not the real name of whoever came up with Bitcoin.) Maybe the real Satoshi Nakamoto is the guy who was supposedly handed over the keys to Bitcoin shortly before Satoshi Nakamoto was never heard from again (Popper, 2016).

Hope Restored
Harvey was worried. Taking stock of his situation he was running out of food. He had four teenage boys, his brother and himself to feed, and as a single father there is only so much money to go around. Checking his bank account, he had approximately $25 to live on for the next few weeks and in order to get out to his customers in the remote places they sometimes lived (to service their receivers) he would need to fill his fuel tank before he got paid again (which would be after the holidays and the start of the new year.) To top it off, Harvey was not able to get his boys more than one gift each for Christmas this year. He had also missed out on signing up for the local program that ensures needy children get a better Christmas. He had heard about it too late and he was too busy taking care of things for his household and at work to be able to apply on time.

New-Town Trials
The night was cold and moving on toward morning when Trevor finished with his jog. He was on the running trail about a quarter mile from the trailhead - and standing out in the middle of the field nearby was a rickety old barn. Nothing special nor noteworthy in his opinion, but for some reason it caught his interest this morning. Looking around, there weren't any "Keep Out" or "Private Property" signs posted. No fence to cross.
