The Blackhole Heart

In the best form that words can express I feel as though my soul is caged within expectations and narrowed options. I think about leaving this incarnation rather often.

I want it all, let me in, let me taste. Maybe just a little bit? I’ll sing you a song, lure you in, engulfed in my mad-manic-mystery. Feel it, the sound of your breath, your heartbeat rising. Nourish me I am hungry, is it my mind, or is it my destiny...I'm trapped in my fate of living this way. The day’s I lay dormant, I feel remorse, but I know the hunger will return.

Today
Today There are so many reasons I do it. To be frank I don’t entirely know myself. Today, I thought of you. I thought of all the adventures we went on. The long drives to the mountains, hiking, and laughing how we need to quit smoking. I thought of all the music we sang along to. I never thought then how odd it was. After all I was 22 and you were 36. I thought you were my best friend. I I felt so safe during our honest conversations about life and our pasts. Isn't that what friends do? How silly was I to think it wasn’t anything more... I was foolish.

Her Intoxicating Kiss
Floating, sinking. I am protruding from the surface. The curves of my sea floor slowly expose, each wave bringing me closer. I do not see what you see, your eyes are not mine. I am no longer me, just a layer of skin that only you can see. I am but a barrier of disapproval and invisibility.
