A guide to better results
We all want to be better, but how do we get there? We can start with the little things. We often think that we need to make major changes in order to see significant results. But sometimes, a tiny thing can have a big impact on our performance. What can we do to improve our performance? And then, what else? Every detail of life and work can be improved. For example, if you're a writer or blogger, what's the first step in writing an article that will get more shares than your previous posts? Write it well!

While you were gone
It’s only been a day but I already know this won’t work; if you asked me, I’d say, ‘I don’t want to do this without you’. What happened to the promises you made? The dreams we had and everything we said we’d do. I remember how you would whisk me in your arms and lift me up, tell me how you’d rather die than live without me, I think back and realize now, I should have said same to you. I’m here wishing I was with you, lying next to you, in the place where we said would only part us: Death laid it’s cold hands on you my love and now, I’m left without my friend, companion, my love. Losing you feels like living a dream, this is not my life; it cannot be, this has to be a dream.

GETTING THE JOB DONE: THE IMPORTANCE OF LISTENING
This topic might interest you, well I hope it does, maybe, just maybe you might find a reason for reading this article. It is impossible to make it through anything, a job, studies, relationships if you do not have the ear to listen and to listen twice. I will share an experience I recently had at my workplace, hopefully, that might make you see the absolute importance of listening to understand. It’s funny how teachers used to say understanding the problem is part of the solution and that a greater part of the work is done when we understand what the question is demanding from us.

Coca Leaf and Kola Nut
Did you know it all started in a lab? Spend more time in labs people, there's greatness in trying new things. Experimenting, and taking notes on what works and what doesn't is all well and good, but let's not miss the point. John S. Pemberton, an Atlanta pharmacist, at his Pemberton Chemical Company, first cooked up Coca-Cola as a tonic, for common ailments. He based it on cocaine from the coca leaf and caffeine-rich extracts of the kola nut. It is said that Dr. Pemberton carried a jar of his tonic to Jacob's bar where it was sampled and pronounced excellent; a delicious and refreshing taste.

The Last Day of School
For most schools, especially basic and junior high, this day marks the end of another term and in some cases, another year. The joy of moving up the educational ladder is enough to fill the bellies of students and children alike but that is not what we look forward to on the last day of school. The Last Day of school for us is when we change our attire; when we ditch the uniforms and go rogue; wear what we want to. It is the one day we actually get to choose what we want to wear and how we choose to appear, the one day we are ‘unprescribed’.
